Case can refer to:
General:
- Legal case, a dispute between opposing parties resolved by a court.
- A term of jurisprudence, referring to the evidence against a defendant or suspect
- Suitcase, briefcase, attaché case, packing case or similar.
- Bookcase or casement window an enclosure desinged to hold something.
- A computer chassis. See computer case.
- Letter case in typography (the distinction between majuscule and minuscule letter forms) or sentence case
- An instance or example (see also case study)
- Cases in linguistic morphology; see declension and list of grammatical cases
- Computer-aided software engineering (CASE)
- Shakespearean English: A container or covering; (applied to) a mask. Like 'vizard'. Please note, the Wikipedia article on 'vizard' is not about the Shakspearean 'vizard'.
- To reconnoiter or to get an understanding of a location (slang)
- A package of 24 beers
- Case-shot is a type of anti-personnel canister ammunition similar to a shrapnel shell
