Jafar as Sadiq - Sixth Imam in the Twelver and Isma'ili traditions of Shi'i Islam. Influential teacher, theologian and jurist. Taught Abu Hanifa and Malik ibn Anas who were instrumental in the development of Sunni Islam. (699- 765 CE).
