The Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia is one of the premier schools of education in the United States, and is particularly outstanding in its use of instructional technology. It is located in Charlottesville, Virginia on the main grounds of the University of Virginia.

The Curry School was founded in 1905 with two professorships created with gifts from John D. Rockefeller and the State General Education Fund of Virginia. The school was named for Dr. J. L. M. Curry, a congressman and ambassador, who was a strong advocate of education.

The school offers several programs to students, including four-year undergradate Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in education. The undergradute programs include Communication Disorders, Sports Medicine, and a five-year Teacher Education program (which includes both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Teaching). Graduate programs include degrees in Masters of Education, Education Specialist, Doctor of Education and Doctor of Philosophy.
