Daegu National University of Education is one of several national universities of education which provide training to those planning careers in the public educational system of South Korea. The current president is Lee-Keon Chang. About 85 instructors are employed.

Academics

As with South Korea's other universities of education, the undergraduate courses of study at DNUE are divided between general education and specific training in teaching. A thesis is also required. Specialized teaching degrees are available in each of the fields which are required to be taught in the country's public schools.
